Produccions Grau-Peiró

JEAN LOUIS DAVID CONFERENCE FALL/WINTER 2008/2009. OCTOBER 2008.

Venue: Hotel Front Air Congress (Sant Boi de Llobregat).

For the fourth year in a row, Produccions Grau-Peiró was the chosen agency to coordinate the technical production and artistic guidance of the annual convention that Jean Louis David organises every year for their Spanish franchising shops. 400 people attended the event.

It took place in one of the lounges of this new four-star hotel, located very close to the airport. The staging was restrained by the low height of the ceiling and the presence of columns in the room. In order to overcome this a 20cm high stage was designed from which a catwalk sprung at floor level. We paid special emphasis on the audiovisuals, using twelve 50'' screens hanging from a prolite structure all around the stage's contour and the catwalk. In this way we managed to cover all the dead angles so that the audience could follow the evolution of the event. The lighting project was also important when decorating the room, and high-tech LEDs were used to dye the walls.

The whole workday was livened up by a DJ and two dancers of flamenco fusion which acted during the stage changes.
