COOKING WORKSHOP JUNE 2008
Venue: Can Ribas de Montbui (Bigues i Riells)
30 employees from the R&D department at Pinturas Hempel got together on one spring afternoon to share a team building activity in an outstanding place: the manor house of the Oliver-Parellada family, 30 minutes away from Barcelona and with 23 hectares of total land.
After a welcoming appetizer, held in the house's gardens, the cooking workshop began. There was much more to it than a corporative activity, with four different but complementary goals: team work, fun, competition and surprise. It was an ideal activity to encourage business values and promote that employees from the same or different departments got to know each other a bit better. The activity was conducted by a chef and his assistant in the main kitchen or the secondary one at Can Ribas. After 3 hours of fun, dinner was served by Can Ribas hall service: a dinner consisting in what had been prepared in the workshop.
It was a come-together funny activity that all the attendees will always remember. Besides, as a souvenir they received a photographic report and a gigantic photo on lightweight cardboard.
